Which shopping agent for a US haul?
For a parcel headed to the US, two things decide it: the freight quote for your weight and box size, and how the line deals with US duties. Both depend on the haul, so the way to settle it is to quote the same cart at more than one agent. Finds in this sheet carry links for Kakobuy, Litbuy, Oopbuy and USFans; the table shows how many for each.

What to check
Eight checks before a US-bound haul
You won't find fee rates, freight prices or duty amounts on this page. They change during the year, and the agents publish the current ones themselves. Each card tells you where to look. For how US lines work, see shipping to the USA; for what the border charges, see the US customs guide.
Will the link open there?
The table below lists the marketplaces this site builds links for at each agent. Kakobuy takes Weidian, Taobao and 1688; the other three take Weidian. Paste the item into the converter before you sign up anywhere.
Lines that ship to the US
Open each agent's shipping estimator, choose the United States, add your ZIP code if it asks, and enter a realistic weight. Note how many lines come back and what each one says it will and won't carry.
Who pays duties, and when
China parcels no longer clear US customs duty-free. A line's description should say whether duties are built into the freight price or billed to you at delivery. If it says neither, ask support before you ship.
How freight gets quoted
Lines charge on the greater of actual and volumetric weight, and many price a first block plus each extra unit after it. Run one weight and one box size through every estimator instead of comparing advertised per-kilo rates.
Where the service fee sits
It can be a percentage of the item, a flat charge per item, or folded into freight. Add one item to each cart and read the checkout line by line; the fee shows up there.
What the QC photos include
How many warehouse photos come with each item, whether close-ups or measurements cost extra, and how long they take to appear. These are your last look before the item crosses the Pacific.
Paying from a US account
Check which cards and wallets checkout accepts, whether a surcharge appears at the last step, and what currency you are billed in. A charge in a foreign currency can trigger your bank's foreign transaction fee.
When a parcel gets stuck
Ask how the agent handles a parcel held at the US border, returned, or lost in transit: whether the line offers insurance, what a claim needs, and who you talk to.

FAQ
Agents and US shipping
Which shopping agent is best for shipping to the US?
The one whose US lines give your particular haul the lowest total, with duties handled in a way you are comfortable with. Weight, box size and the goods inside all move that answer, so no fixed ranking holds for everyone. Build the same cart at two agents, get a US freight quote from each, and compare the final numbers.
Do duties change which agent I should pick?
They change which line you pick, and the lines differ between agents. Since China lost the de minimis exemption in 2025, a US-bound parcel can owe duties and fees at the border. Some lines fold that into the freight price, others leave it to you on delivery. Compare the total including duties, not the freight alone.
Can I split one haul across two agents?
You can, but each agent ships its own parcel. That means two freight bills, two first-weight charges and two separate border entries. If the items can all be bought at one agent, keep them together.
How is a shopping agent different from a package forwarder?
An agent places the order with the Chinese seller for you, receives it, photographs it and ships it. A forwarder only receives and ships things you bought yourself. Most Chinese marketplaces don't ship to the US or take US cards, which is why buyers use an agent.
What are the risks of using one of these agents?
All four work the same way: you pay the agent, the agent pays the seller and holds the item until you ship. The risks are an item that doesn't match its listing, a parcel delayed or held at the US border, and a parcel lost in transit. QC photos help with the first; for the other two, read the line's terms on duties, insurance and claims before you pay freight.
