China spreadsheet USA: sneakers
291 pairs of sneakers sold on Weidian and Taobao, listed for buyers shipping to the United States. Every pair has a buy link for Kakobuy, Litbuy, Oopbuy, or USFans, and QC photos appear where buyers have shared them. Two things deserve attention before you order: the size, because most listings use EU numbers or foot length in millimeters rather than US sizes, and the shoe box, which can take up more of the shipping bill than the shoes.

Reading the QC photos of sneakers
When an item reaches your agent's warehouse in China, the agent photographs it. A return or an exchange is still simple at that point; once the package is on its way to the US, it rarely is. What QC means
Toe box and heel
Hold the side view up against a retail photo. A toe box that sits too high, a flat heel curve or a wavy midsole line are the first signs the shape is off.
Size label vs. your order
The size on the tongue label should match the EU or millimeter size you picked, not the US number in your head. Make sure the photos show a left shoe and a right one.
Glue along the midsole
Light glue marks usually wipe off; thick, hardened streaks usually stay. Decide which you can live with before the pair leaves China.
Stitching
Rows should be evenly spaced and parallel to the panel edges. If a seam looks frayed, ask the agent for a close-up before you approve.
Shipping sneakers to the US
Freight to the US is billed on whichever is larger, the actual weight or the volumetric weight, and a shoe box is mostly air. Unless you want to keep it, ask your agent to ship the pair without the box or flattened, before the package is submitted. US customs for packages from China
FAQ
Sneakers: common questions
How do I convert a China listing to my US shoe size?
Measure instead of converting. Mark your heel and longest toe on a sheet of paper, measure the gap in centimeters (inches × 2.54) and match it to the seller's own chart. If the listing or other buyers say a model runs small, going up half a size is common advice — a rule of thumb, not a guarantee.
Can I get extra QC photos of a pair?
Usually. Most agents take extra close-ups on request, sometimes for a small fee. Say which angles you want, such as the heel or the outsole.
Will I pay customs on sneakers shipped to the US?
You may. Packages from China no longer enter the US duty-free under the $800 de minimis rule, which ended for China in 2025, so a box of several pairs can cost more at the border. Our US customs guide covers the basics.
